in this piece we had draw someone at different time increments. the 1st consisted of geometric shapes and line then we proceeded to add organic shapes (showing joints and form). finally we added facial features and shading ext. the thing i like most about this piece is the emotion in the girls face, however i would have liked to keep the composition consistent with hand positioning

MOVEMENT
i titled this piece movement because of the obvious movement the piece contains. my inspiration for this piece was my hand (duh) but more than that it was how the hand is so commonly used if fore shorting. my favorite part of "Movement" is the monochromatic color scheme i chose. i don't know what it is about monochromatic that i like it may be the bold statement it can make or just the simple yet complex idea of it. that on color, on single color can say more than a rainbow. on the other hand my craftsmanship is always an ordeal in my compositions. when ever i start a project i tend no to think about what it may become, i only think about what it is at that moment. so initially i pay absolutely no attention to thing such as craftsmanship, or straight lines, i just create.

i know this piece is BOLD but i have to say i like it. in this piece i wanted to show a women who has curves and hips ext ext and who is proud of them. in today's world the media emphasises so much on women who weigh 87 lbs and look like skeletons, and that's what we're led to believe is the definition of beauty. however what i would like to have done differently in this was watch my craftsmanship, a thing i continuously struggle on.

primarily in this project i found most things about it quite unsettling. but as time progressed i learned to love it. my initial sketch made me skeptical about including the bulls skull. but sense it was to be abstract it really did not matter. the things i like about his project is the way i Incorporated different types of paper: cardboard, book paper ext. in addition to tat i am really starting to like the bold colors and the natural texture. however things that i would like to have done differently was add n more texture and more contrast between meidas

Paper Cut
this is way long over due. this is my papercutting project. i like this peice because of it display of pattern and emotion. on thing that did differently than everyone eles is that i encorperated two facial compsitions. the effect that i tried to bring across was how the boy looks and how he actually feels. i named this peice tear of a tiger.
